Why telemedicine?

Telemedicine can be your first line of defense when you have questions about your health, and can be a lifeline when you are out of town, on the go or unable to leave your home. Let us help you stay connected and healthy in any situation!

How do I book a telemedicine appointment?

New patients can book a telemedicine appointment through our website by clicking the “Book Now” button, and existing patients through our online patient portal www.onpatient.com.

Does my insurance cover telemedicine?

Although exceptions were made during the covid-19 pandemic, telemedicine is generally not covered by insurance for acupuncturists. However, coverage can vary for individual plans. We will verify your specific telemedicine benefits for you prior to your appointment once you book online.

A good reminder…

“Patients can benefit from the Chinese wisdom in nutrition, breathing, meditation, self-massage and acupressure care we deliver without personally being “hands on.” This medicine originated from the foundational belief that the cornerstones of health were in diet, lifestyle, and right thinking. Only after each of those was attended to would therapeutic herbs be added, and only if those things did not do enough would acupuncture be employed.” - American Society of Acupuncturists
